Elizabeth Hugh is a barrister and solicitor in Canada whose practice includes assisting clients with the patenting of their chemical and computer related inventions. Elizabeth also provides litigation support on a variety of Intellectual Property related matters.
Elizabeth was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2012. Prior to joining Riches, McKenzie & Herbert LLP, she spent 3 years abroad in the United Kingdom, working for a prominent London law firm in the field of Intellectual Property litigation.
Elizabeth graduated summa cum laude from the University of Ottawa in 2008, where she received bachelor’s degrees in Chemical Engineering and Computing Technology. She then completed her Juris Doctor degree in 2011. While living in the United Kingdom, Elizabeth also attended the University of Oxford, where she earned a post-graduate diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice in 2014.
